![]() Hello, I need some help with my 95 GT. These are the codes we got from out scanner.
172: Heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor- voltage signal indicates "lean" (bank #1) 176: Heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor- voltage indicates "lean (bank#2). We followed the code scanning instruction exactly warm engine and all that good stuff. So far we have replace the fuel filter, cap MSD, rotor, plug wires MSD, air filter, plug heat protector boots, both oxygen sensors, and the fuel filter. After we replace the oxygen sensors these codes still came up. It fills really week and will chug while driving, especially on the free-way. When I really get on it around 4k-6K it feel like it is not getting enough fuel it really chugs. I have no idea what it could be unless it is the fuel injectors. The car only has about 60K on it. These are the parts on it: Equal length headers, X-pipe, cat-back, underdrive pulleys, 3:73 gears, timing is at about 12 or 13 degrees...etc. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Please email me with response I check that more offten. stunboo@aol.com Thanks again Stuart |

![]() Also, found the #3 wire was cracked. Replaced it and ran good for 1 day. The engine light still turns on and chugs a bit but not as bad. Should I just go out and buy a new set of wires or what?

![]() A new set of wires couldn't hurt. I mean if they were bad enough for one wire to crack, the others are probably on their way out. Also, you might want to pull the plugs and just check to see how thier burning. If thier fowled out and your comp is reading lean, you have a big problem on your hands.
