Default I'm going DRAG RACING TONIGHT! Predictions??

Finally,

I'm going to Lebanon Valley tonight and I'm psyched! I wired up the line lock (works great) but didn't bother with the tranny brake yet. I'm thinking about doing a pass launching from idle and then trying to foot brake the stall convertor at around 2500 rpm's on the second pass. Hopefully I'll get a few passes. Any predictions?? I'm thinking 12's all the way unless something goes wrong. I'd be happy with anything in the 12's. Since I only have 300 miles on her I'm going to take it easy, shifting around 5-5500 rpm's. I know I'm going to be nervous and will probably red light but as long as I get into the 12's I'll be happy. Thanks to all the guys that helped me get this far here @ Mustangworks, especially Pkrwud!

Which car are you taking to the strip?

I noticed you have a 93 and a 69.

Damn, you oughta see 12's easy I'd think, even with the automatic. Let us know how you do.

I think his 351 motor is from 1969, he doesn't have the actual car, I could be wrong, but that's the way I read it. BTW, good luck at the track, let us know your times!

The motor is a 69 351 stroked to a 393. That motor is in his 93GT.

Man you will be catching some mean action from that motor. I say 12s easy. Since you aint gettin on it. But you could do 11s with that beast.

Default What are you running for tires?

I think you'd have a helluva time getting it to hook with street radials and all that torque, so I hope you've got something better. If you've got a real set of tires I say mid-high 12's since this is your first time out with it.
