				 | '93 Cobra Springs vs. GT Springs - What's the Diff? Does anyone know the difference between springs on the '93 Cobra and an '87- '93 GT? I'm about to replace the springs/shocks on my '88 and wanted to keep the same ride height. I've heard that the '93 Cobra suspension was "softer" than the GT. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

				 | I'm not sure of the exact specs, but when I did the exact same thing you're doing with my 88 gt, I didn't like it much. I put 93 cobra springs on the rear and it lowered the car a little bit. The front didn't really change as much as the rear, so now my car squats back all the time. It could just be that I got some crappy springs too. The ride is softer, but I'd personally rather have the GT springs back in it (if I still had them). |

				 | DRASTiK: Hmmm. Good tip. What spring/shock combo did you end up with? And are you satisfied with the results? Thanks for the reply.

				 | they are the same from the 87-93 5.0 models for the front which is 425-530lb/in. The 93 Cobra's rear springs are from the 4cyl Mustang rear 160 lb/in. and the rear of the 5.0's are 200-300 lb/in. hope that helps Dave.
