Default Dzus fasteners..question

My '82GT has a "lift off" fiberglass hood that uses those Dzus fastners. My question is: Is there a way to lock them so that I don't worry about someone stealing my hood?
All someone would need is a coin or screwdriver and they can walk away with my hood!! How can I secure the hood?

Hmm, I don't think you can. You would have to use hood pains to do that and that might look a little funky. Good luck.

Dzus makes hood pins that lock with a key. Summit should have some. It uses a cicular key that has to push down several pins before it will turn. Kind of like some bike chain locks.
