![]() ......is on the way! No sense burnin up a new motor with inadequate fuel delivery. I am installing the whole thing - fuel tank to fuel rails. Got to see the setup this weekend at Gateway WFC, Aeromotive was there with a display and tech help for racers.
This is going in with new 72lb injectors from MSD and low impedence driver for the PMS. I have had new motor since Feb and haven't hooked up the blower for fear of running out of fuel. Fortunately we have a wide band O2 for our dyno and I can do a reliable tune on the motor now. I can't wait to hook up the blower!!! Mike ------------------ Live near St.Louis? ![]() I put on the aeromotive system this year and love it. I have a 5 gallon cell insted of the sumped tank though it makes the rear look much cleaner on a lx.
The only tip that I have is that the spacers that come on the drivers side fuel rail is not something to forget about. If you don't put them on the rail will hit the distributer, this sucks bad if you already installed the upper intake. ------------------ 347 W/ A-trim 6#'s, Canfield heads, out of the box Systemax II intake, solid roller cam. 11.1 @123mph 1.46 60FT 93lx 5.0 daily driver |

![]() Funny you should mention the spacers. The factory tech at Gateway said the same thing and showed me the spacers on their mock up intake. This was in response to my asking about distributor clearance.
Depending on the which kit you purchase you could pay between $1100-1600 on a fuel system. Check out the kits at http://www.aeromotiveinc.com/ In case your wondering about Cartech or Paxton pumps being better, Aeromotive MFG these products for them. ![]() Buddy of mine picked up a 1000 hp Aeromotive system. I haven't seen it yet, but he says that it is a work of art.
He's strapping it on to a new 347 strocker motor with AFR's 185cc heads and ALL the goodies plus a 150 shot of the funny stuff. Should run all right ![]() --nathan ------------------ --silver_pilate '91 GT, Built 306, Wolverine 1087 cam, ported Windsor Jr. Irons, and all the goodies...click the link to the left to see a full list of my mods...
