Default bushings/alignment

I plan on rebuilding the suspension on my stock 90Gt w/ 113k miles. First off, what are all the bushings I will need? I figure I should replace them all, probally going for that P-S-T polygraphite front end kit which includes:

2 upper ball joints,
2 lower ball joints,
2 outer tie rod ends,
4 inner control arm bushings,
2 lower control arm bushings,
strut rod bushings,
stabilizer links,
sway bar bushings

I am also thinking about ordering some new spring isolators, should I get rubber or poly? Also looking at steering rack bushing, regular or offset? I figure all of these be replaced since all of them are original ford rubbers in my car. I'm also throwing in new shocks/struts and springs. Did I miss any?

When I got my sway bars from PST, I got the entire kit also. As long as you get the kit, you won't miss anything. I have been real happy with the polly PST stuff. I recomend then polly spring insolators. You do know that you will have to pull the springs out to do this? If you have never done springs before, the fronts are harder then hell! Get the normal bushings for the rack unless you droped you car, then get the offset ones. I didn't get them for my car. I didn't even get the offset ones when my car was lowered 2" and everything worked fine.

I'm planning on putting in FMS B or C springs, which should drop the car 7/8" front and 1/2" rear, should I go with offset or normal rack bushings? Also, did I miss ANY bushings in my first post, including front and rear? I want to get everything done while I have the car apart, any other suggestions?

I would just use the original ones if it was me. I looked over your list, and I can't think of anything you missed. Looks like your all good to go!

Thanks cyberstang. Along with the P-S-T kit, poly spring isolators, and normal poly rack bushings, should I replace any of these?

1. Strut tower bushings (is this the same as the strut rod bushings in the P-S-T kit??)

2. Upper Rear Axle Bushings

3. Axle Bumpstop Bushing (car will have FMS B or C springs)

For starters, he has TOO MUCH on his list! Fox bodies dont have upper ball joints. They dont have strut rods either. This is what he needs:
FRONT:
Lower control arm bushings
Inner and outer tie rod ends Passenger and drivers side
Strut mount bushings
lower ball joints
stabalizer links
sway bar to frame bushings
steering rack bushings(offset if the car is lowered)
Rear:
lower control arm bushings(poly or stock rubber)
upper control arm bushings on axle(use stock rubber!)
upper control arm bushings on control arm(use stock rubber!)

I was just using the general description in the P-S-T catalog. I don't have a lot of experience and this will be the first time tearing into a stang's suspension, so I appreciate all advise!

Why stock rubber? Would the poly stuff be too stiff of a ride?

cause of the postion of the upper control arms, the poly's will actually make it bind and that is what you dont want. if your drag racing, then you can get away with it. for cornering, its a no no. depends how you set up your car. you can use poly's in the upper, but the car will actually handle better with the stock bushings in the upper. the lower you can go poly.

Thanks for the help srv1. Sorry to be annoying but I want to make sure I have everything when the car is apart. I'm going to get the following:

P-S-T Kit : (i called and asked whats in the kit)
lower ball joints
outer tie rods
control arm bushings
strut rod bushings
sway bar bushings
end links

In addition:
poly spring isolators (front and rear)
poly rack bushings
(should i get offset if using FMS B or C springs?)

For the rear:
lower control arm bushings(poly or stock rubber)
upper control arm bushings on axle(use stock rubber!)
upper control arm bushings on control arm(use stock rubber!)

Should I just replace the upper and lower control arms with aftermarket pieces? This car is a daily driver and I don't if its cost effective to install new uppers and lowers or go the cheaper route and just replace the bushings?

Also installing MM c/c plates, KYB's, and FMS B or C springs, any suggestions? Will I need new axle bumpstop bushing? Do the c/c plates come with strut tower bushings? Do i even need them?

Not sure about the c/c plates coming with bushings. Maybe someone else can chime in on that one. But as far as the rear axle bumpstop...no you don't need a new one. Actually there are two of them, one on each side. It is just a piece of rubber that is there to prevent the rear end from completely bottoming out. The stock pieces are fine, considering the rearend will rarely ever touch the pinion snubber.
