![]() Well my fuel pressure is going all over the place..started out flucuating while it normally stays at 7 psi whether at idle or at WOT.. my oil pressure was down also so i noticed belt beginning to slice so replaced the belt. seemed to fix the problem. Then the pressure started going again. this morning it was low, this afternoon it was normal, and tonight it was high! whats going on? fuel pump and regulator are about a year old. possible fuel filter clogged? any suggestions would help, thanks!

![]() Do not know what a belt would have to do with it at all. Coincidence? Or maybe the alt was not charging and causing the electric gauges to do funky things? I would put a mechanical gauge on to verify oil and fuel pressure. Could be a bad sending unit, could be a plugged filter, could be a pump going south. Mechanical pump or electric?

![]() The belt was slipping therefor the alternator was not giving out a full charge. I do have mechanical guages for oil, temp, and FP. Its an electric fuel pump but i really dont think its the pump though,, hummm,...i will figure it out sooner or later
Thanks, cait |
