![]() Went to HRP on sunday for the first time. I have a lot of driving experience, just at Gainesville Raceway. Track hook's great, much better than I'm used to. I was launching on mcreary's at 12psi, no burnout. 3200 rpm and side step clutch. They would dead hook, cause the car to jump out the hole then bogg down then go again. My question is on stock 185K drivetrain should I just try side stepping the clutch at 2k instead of higher to elimanate the violent shock or be a man and try 4500 rpm. What rpm is it gonna take to not cause a bogg w/ my 3.55's. Thanks. Oh 60's are at 1.90 right now.
