Default Downshift

65 Mustang, 289, 4 speed. I cannot downshift from 4 to 3. Anyone got ideas why?

bad syncros on the backside of thire gear or check your fluid. If you take it apart you will no it, teeth will be torn up your your clutch. Sounds more like syncros.
