![]() Well I took my Radio Control gas truck out today for a little bashing. on the dirt raod to my RC spot I nailed a rock and ripped my muffler off the exhaust pipe. Now my car is louder, but I have lost a bit of torque off the bottom.
I was running the stock headers into a single pipe. I think that once I finish moving Il be doing my own dual pipe conversion. My only question is what muffler? I know I want Flowmasters, but which series? Im thinking 50 series. what do you all suggest? Also which is better, a X-pipe or and H-pipe? I plan on using one, I just dont know the differances. Thanks for the help.. MIke

![]() use a three chamber flowmaster, otherwise they might be a bit too loud. as for the X vs H pipe, either one will work fine for the street. i am planning an X pipe for my mustang when i get it on the road.

![]() If I remember correctly they will both give you more power than a stock setup. The H-pipe gives you a little more bottom end Torque, the X-pipe more top end.
