Cool Cheapest place to buy a Tremec TKO?

I need a new tranny so I figured I'd buy a good one. Who has the best deals on Tremec trannies?

I bought mine from D&D in Michigan. I think it was $1350. They are an excellent supplier. As for youre battery: I bought a yellow top Optima. It is a deep cycle battery with no liquid electrolyte. I didnt even need to put a vent on my battery box, because it is dry. They are like $170 in Summit, but a place here in town sells them for $135. If you decide to go that route I'll get you their number.

I have been dealing with Holcomb a lot lately and they have them for $139. That is the battery I have been looking at so I may just get one from them. Thanks for the reply.

That is a killer deal!

What kind of clucth do you have to use with the TKO? And do you have to buy the new pressure plate as well? Or just the disc?

Any other things I should know before the swap?

Thanks guys.
