![]() I'm wondering what you guys think of pulley's and are they worth the time? Check out my mods and what would be next in your upgrades.
Thanks all ![]()

![]() Sure, if you don't mind spending approx. $100.00. They give you a few extra horses and look good if you get them in the polished aluminum. I recommend the BBK polished aluminum under-drive pulleys.

![]() Underdrives are the best bang for the buck besides gears. They are far and away the best mod for a mustang under a 100. You can gain 10rwhp with them!

![]() I've never had any luck with under drive pulleys with the car having the stock alternator or water pump. I had cooling and charging problems.
Right now I've got a MARCH underdrive crank pulley, the alt pulley with a 130amp alt, and a Cobra overdrive water pump pullley (drives the pump faster). I'm very happy with this set up. With you mods, I would start saving for a 2600-2800 stall converter for your car. That would make a huge difference. -Josh, aka the tireburner

![]() It's funny how some cars have problems and others don't. My car had underdrives with a electrice fan and a stock water pump and never had any charging or cooling issues.

![]() I run all three March pulleys and have never had any charging or cooling problem, although I know others have. My alternator doesn't put at as much at idle (lights dim and stuff), but once I am moving all is good and I have never had a problem starting, running my amp and stereo, etc.
