Red face Is it worth adding more timing in my situation???

I have my car set up perfect right now after my new alum. head install. My question is that i have 14 deg. of timing in the engine right now as it sits and it refuses to ping, would it be worth putting more timing into it for more HP or would the difference be minemal??? I was told the alum. heads will take more timing with no problems.

The difference would probably be minimal but why not try it and find out?
It's easy to do and just as easy to un-do, should it ping.
