Post Tips for driving at the track

I have never driver at a track before. I need some tips for this weekend when I go.
Shifting techniques, getting good traction
stuff like that.

My Car is a manual. These are my mods

Front Suspention- Motorsports springs 1 coil cut out. Lakewood drag struts

Rear Suspention- Southside Machine rear lower arms. Motorsports upper arms. Lakewood Drag shocks. Southside rear drag springs.

Rear End- 3.55 Gears. Alburn posi-traction.
31 spline axles.

2 1/2" Flowmaster exhaust. 1 5/8" Motorsports headers.

GT 40 Upper and lower intake manifolds
GT 40 heads. crane roller rockers
Underdrive pulleys, cold air intake

I also have a cobra shifter.
I have done a lot of other stuff, but these are the most important.

Black,84 GT,ground effects,shorty headers, 'open' dual exh.,302 HO(no pollution control crap),T5,89 ported heads,edelbrock Performer manifold, Edelbrock 2122 cam,600 Holley, high volume oil pump...

DON'T SPIN! thats the biggest thing i can say, play around with the launch until you spin, then back off.
