Post T-5 pronounced dead....

Yep, it happened, i had to get to work somehow, not far, but anyway, leaving work, i stopped at h.e.b to get some gas, as i pulled out into traffic i heard it clattering as usual, trying to be easy on it, i shifted to 3rd, and CLANK!!SNAP!!!POP!! then the light turns so i stop hoping 1st gear is going to work, well the light turns green as i was still rolling slow, i tried 1st and it locked up my wheels, or stopped me, with an awful metal snapping noise (and a burnt smell), i almost got rearended, then tried 2nd 3rd, no luck and blocking traffic, finally it clattered into 4th, and i was on my way, cruised home in 4th.

pulling the t-5 tommorrow, and gonna scrape together all the money i have for a rebuilt t-5.

So thats how my day went, i could imagine the horrific sound a t-5 would make...say around 6K rpms ouch, luckily i was at a low speed.
