67 Coupe Upgrade Reccomendations

I am planning the following upgrades for the my 302 67 hartop coupe that I've had for 8 years. Please let me know what brands and equipment everyone would suggest. I need to find components that would fit correctly in a 67 with a carbed 302 wedged in there.

3 spd automatic C4 Transmission needs to go. What automatic 5 speed transmission who be recommended with minimal engine bay modifications. What is the most dependable

Door hinges are weak. What is the best deal and best quality hinge replacements? Should I just purchase NOS hinges, or rebuild the existing one's myself?

The hooker headers are ticking again. I think its a flange warp issue, and it may be a better idea to replace the headers than have a machine shop remedy the problem(if possible). I found a set of chrome bbk headers, but they don't allow the necessary horizontal clearance on either side of 302 block. I'd like a new set of top notch headers that will clear my 302 block in a 67 engine bay. Any suggestions or advice?
