Default How light can you get a coupe?

I have an extra engine (308, E cam, milled stock heads) that is being rebuilt by my friend in his automotive class and I am thinking about getting a roller (no motor, trans) and gutting the thing out. I would go carb (for the first time) and remove everything possible. Any guesses on what the car would weigh? 2500 2600??

Stock body and glass

The most fun I ever had was with my current Mustang when it had the stock engine. I'd like to do cheap "racecar" to beat up on instead of dogging on my 93.

Thanks
