Default GGGGGGuages (Oil and Temp) also Neutral Safety Switch?

What can I hook those bad boys (Oil and Temp) to in order for them to come on when I start the motor? I can't think of anything except the ignition switch... and I really don't like that -or the fuse box , which is how it was hooked up when I bought the car.

Also... when I got the car I noticed that the neutral safety switch (I think that's what it is) was broken off of the clutch (Plastic clips) and held compressed with coat hanger wire- makes a great kill switch, but does anyone make a repare for that besides "Sonic Weld" epoxy?

Thanks guys!!
