				 |  alternator question I have A 92 4cyl. with a bad alt. I have An alt. out of a 89 5.Ll will it fit or should i rebuild  |

				 |  Re: alternator question The mounting points may be different between the 5.0L and 2.3L. If you know how to take it apart and repair it, the brushes or regulator are usually common failures.  Buying a reman or rebuilt will give you a nice warranty though.

				 |  Re: alternator question I would definitly go w/ rebuilding it if u know how but like the guy said before me the warranty is always nice to have. After lookin at the points for a 5.0 i beleive they are located differently. anyways, goodluck! VIVA LA REDNECK!  |
