![]() In addition to my current mods(signature), I plan on getting a few more items before a Vortech or ATI supercharger.. What should they be? I plan on a new 190lph or 255lph fuel pump, 24lb or 30lb injectors, upper/lower intake(which one??? I like the holley), and 3.55 gears. Which of these items should I get before the supercharger and what else might I need so everything will work well together. Thanks... ------------------ 91LX, Modifications include: MAC Cold Air Induction Kit, MAC Cat-Back Exhaust, BBK H-Pipe, Edelbrock 70mm T.B., Pro-M 75mm MAF, MSD Wires and coil, NGK plugs, Pro 5.0 shifter, Underdrive Pullies, Kirban Fuel Pressure Regulator, and some Autometer gauges. |

![]() Fuel pump and injectors because you always want to make sure you are getting enough fuel. Better to be to rich than to lean. If you have the money go with a ATI procharger that comes with a inner cooler. I know a guy pushing 23lbs. of boost off of it. That is one of the best you can buy. You might want to think about piston rings too depending how many miles you have on it. I'm not sure on upper and lower intake but I have a performer RPM upper and lower edelbrock intake on mine.

![]() Headers and fuel pump are a must. I don't know much about the ATI but the Vortech kit comes with a FMU, so your stock injectors will be fine with thier kit. If for some reason you decide on bigger injectors(for whatever reason) don't forget you will have to recalibrate that Pro-M(the fmu is also calibrated for specific injectors). You should have gotten those rear gears long before now, that was my very first mod(not counting air filter and tune up).
I'd say headers, fuel pump and gears are most important at this stage. ------------------ Rick My 89lx(updated 7/20/2001) Sold ![]() |
