Default 93 mustang 2.3L clutch problems

My son and I just installed a new clutch kit in his mustang now the clutch disengages at the very bottom of the pedel travel, this makes shifting hard after the car warms up, does anybody know if this clutch has an adjustment? ( this is a cable style clutch)
