![]() I just got back from the Ford dealership where I buy my parts from. I'm replacing my fuel pump and wanted the clips that hold the two brake lines on. They had the "duck billed" clips in stock for 50 cents. The other "hair pin" clip he said I had to order. My normal guy wasn't there and it seemed that the guy who was serving me really wasn't to interested. He said that you don't have to replace that clip and that he hasn't ordered one in about 3 years. It was almost like he was trying to talk me out of buying it. Just like the fuel filter clips, I feel these clips need to be replaced. I asked how much he says $4.75!! I couldn't believe it, but I had no choice so I ordered it. I'm not cheap, ESPECIALLY when it comes to my Mustang, but that sounded to me like he just made up that price. What do you guys/gals think??
