				 | If you never ever plan on running nitrous or blower. I would just go with a good set of hypertective pistons. ------------------ 347 Stroker Motor: Balanced, Tremec, Extrude Ported and Polished Upper and ported Lower, GT40 Milled Ported and Polished Heads, B303 Cam, 30lb Bosch Injectors, Holley AFPR, March Pulleys, Perma-Cool Fan, 3-Core Radiator, Accel Performance Coil, Accel 300+ Wires, Ram Air, K&N, 73mm MAF, 70mm TB, FlowMaster w/BBK Offroad H-Pipe, BBK Headers, Hurst Shifter, 3:73 Gears, Ram Clutch, Cross Drilled Rotors, AC, smog, and rear seat deleted, battery relocated Awaiting new heads, intake, custom cam |

				 | I think I would go with the forged pistons. You may not plan on a power adder now, but plans change, especially if you get beat by a car you don't want to beat you ( hopped up ricer, any Chevy product ). Its just my opinion though. I'm never satisfied.

				 | It's the difference between a few hundred dollars or $500 for the top of the line forged pistons. If you are for sure no power adder is in the future, then I wouldn't get forged. |

				 | Don't be discouraged, the cast type pistons can be run with Nitrous, Forged is a better choice however. A motor built with forged will be noise until it warms up and the aluminum expands ever so slightly. Something to consider. If you go with the juice run a conservative set-up lots of reduced timing and run a richer set up with injectors to offset burning a piston same would be advised for a blower set-up. A cooler plug also helps but the biggest is running rich and taking some timing out get some help from a good shop, in your local area, that knows there stuff and you will be fine.
