![]() does anyone know the best way to get rid of rust above the rear winsheild of a 69 mustang? Any info you migh have would be helpful thanks.

![]() The only way to get rid of rust is to cut it out and weld in a patch. Above the rear window is a problem since I'm not aware of any patch panels for that area. So you may be looking at cutting patches from a parts car.
If patching is not an option, then clean out all the rust, treat the area with a rust converter like Rass O Nill, then use fiberglass to patch the area. Not a good option. Good luck. |

![]() How bad is the rust? If it is surface rust you can treat it and then fiberglass but of course welding in new metal is the ultimate fix.
