New street oultaw rules

I have been told the Powerglide trans.will
be legal in the year 2000 for street outlaw.
Is this correct?

That's correct. It was given in the latest issue of the 5.0 Tire Tracks. In short it was stated "...2-speed automatics (Powerglides) permitted in Y2K." Look for further definition in the Year 2000 Rule Book. I don't have any word yet when the RB will be released, but I'll try to let people know when its available.

That's what I was hoping to hear.
My best friend bought a Mustang that has run 8.66 and we want to run Outlaw next year but did not want to change the trans.
Now we just have to lose the 4 inch exhaust.
