Question Now what?!?

What should I get next? I have an exhaust leak, which is comming from the headers, and is not fixable. New headers? Hmmm, maybe.
Then again, I could get a new MAF, and TB. A new 75 Prom-M MAF, and a Brand X TB would work wonders for this little Cobra.
And on another hand, a shift light, and line lock are good investments too. What do you guys and gals think? Any help would make my choice more substaniated or whatever. Anyway, later.

Why is it not fixable BWC? I have to fix mine every year or more. Nothing more irritating to me than a leaking exhaust header. Piff, piff, piff. I just have to go out and repair mine when it occurs. Really a small job though compared to others that coul occur.

Well, it's not that they can't be fixed, I'm just looking for a reason to get some longtubes.
I have to make up my mind by Friday, or the wife <read: money manager> won't let me do it anytime soon. Ahhh, too many choices.......my head is gonna explode!!!!

Question

Ok lets think about this one....fix an annoying exhaust leak or get more goodies to make it faster and still deal with the annoying exhaust leak? I think that is self explainatory!!!!

See, now that's the problem. It's really annoying. I mean REALLY annoying.

But you're probably right, new MAF and TB. Now all I have to do is convince the wife that it's a good idea. Heh heh heh. Do any other guys out there have this same problem?

I say fix the leak. I am
tired of dealing with it.
When is the question?

I manage the money because
you would spend it all and
then we would have to live in
a cardboard box.

Oh dude, she just whizzed in your Rice Crispies!

Sell about $300 or so worth of her stuff, then you can get the BBK longtubes & H-pipe.

On a side note, I had a header leak (Dan should remember the sound from Columbus!) because the flange piece was warped to hell. I know that little "piff-piff-piff" sound someone above was talking about. It was a complete pain in the *** to deal with, but now that it's fixed, I don't know why I didn't have it done last week! My mileage increased a little, too. Hope this helps, BWG.

Sell my stuff? Ha! Let's see
the car is mine, the
computer, the tv's etc and he
uses them all. So no benefit
to him.
He would not do that. Cause I
can retaliate and prevent him
from driving the Cobra.

Yeah, live in a really fast
car with a 7 year old.

Hmmm, maybe I should sell the
playstation and games.

Hey those Big G.E. refrigerator boxes look pretty comfy.. you could cut some holes in it for windows!
I think you should fix the leak.. I HATE leaks, they're the worst sounding, and make the car sound like a beater. IMHO! Good luck!

Ok, I've decided, new headers. Sorry hon, you lose. I'm going to fix the leak in the old ones, and use them on something else later on. Now all I need is a set of wheels and DR's or slicks. <wink wink> Later.

I think you should get the slicks next . I just got a new set of M/T Drags 26/10.5/15 last week. I can't wait untill this weekend I'm going to smoke the whole state out when I fry them.

Thumbs up

Right on! My father-in-law is convinced that the Cobra doesn't need slicks. But he's a weird one. Ask SkardoM, he looks like Jerry Garcia. It's freaky, really.

Just throw some of that Bar Leak stuff into the oil and buy yourself the MAF and TB.

You could also stop using the synthetic headlight fluid and just use regular.
