Want a FREE cat?

Tuesday night at work I found a cute little kitten. I brought it home and fed it, washed it, and checked for infestations. He's black and, well, cute. Amy is allergic to cats, and the land lord doesn't allow pets, so we have to give him away to a good home.
I'm not trying to dump him off on anyone here, instead, I'm trying to find a good shelter that doesn't put animals to sleep if no one takes them. Where would the best place to take him, the Humane Society?
Well, anyway he's just as cute as can be. If anyone in the Charlotte area wants him, I'll be at the Mooresville dragstrip tonight, without the cat, and you can follow me home and get him.
