Bm fan, and aluminum d/s were some of my first mods, but for the price, i should have got some subframe connectors welded in first, as a matter of fact, i got some mac connectors welded in today, and i love them, you will feel a better difference with the sf connectors, i did get a good gain from the fan though, i recomend getting sf connectors, any brand, they all serve the same purpose.

thanks a lot "coupe5oh",
i already know im getting them along with boxing my control arms and beefing up my torque boxes because i work at a fabrication shop and can do all that welding there. so consider that done.

so you think i should get the black magic fan? are there any other fans that are out there made for the mustang?

i was thinking of some pulleys as well?? i already have a 140 amp alt so im set.

i just want the best bang for my buck, if you know what i mean.

keep the suggestions comming!
thanks a lot

If you dont want to spend the big bucks for a black magic fan.......Go to a junk yard and get an electric fan off of a 94 T-bird, Thats what I had all last race season and it worked great and cost me $25.00.

I knocked off 6 tenths and picked up 4mph going to an off road X-pipe and installing underdrive pullies.....So far thats been my best bang for the buck.

Later, hope that helps

in terms of exhaust, i just have strait pipes with 2 chamber flowmasters (without any H or X pipe). would it make a difference if i went to an H or X pipe?

and does the 94 T-Bird fan come with all the thermal swictes and things? if not ill deffinatly go with the black magic.

thanks, and keep them comming!!

Yea i picked up 3 mph, 2-3 tenths, with the fan and a coldair induction mod, im not sure on the t-bird fan, but bm has optional thermstat swich (i didnt get), or you can adjust it on top of the fan yourself, installation wasnt that hard, except i was already replacing the radiator at the time, got rid of my old nasty shroud.
