Default not sure about the cam?

When i bout my car from my cousin after he drove the sh** out of it my dad and i did the trany,interior/exterior and paint we started to find out about all these after market parts it has and some of them we have the receipts for some of them

But we have been told by lots of people that know there cars and they say that my car idles and sounds like it has a cam of some sort. and i was just wondering if any of you guys know what kind i have.

BTW: it is obvious that it is a mild one.

thanks

You have the B303 cam listed in your sig?

Are you asking about the specs on this particular cam? If so,
it has a duration of 284 degrees with .480 lift.

The B303 has some definate rumpity-rump to it. Whoever told you the B cam is very mild sounding at idle doesn't know much about it.

Well the logic behind it being the B -cam sucks, so I wouldnt tell anybody that...you have what is known as a "mystery cam" and there is only 684.985,923 5.0 cam grinds available these days, and it could be one of any 326,890 mild grinds.

The e-cam is popular, and that would probably be the most likely guess, but just that, a guess....

Have you had the valve covers off? I thought I had a cam in my stang too bu it turned out to just be 1.7 roler rockers. They will rough up you idle just a little and make it sound like you hav a mild cam.

i was not told by any one that my car has a Bcam in it, it just sounded like one of the most popular cams. but i guess not. i went and took off my valve covers like stripedstangLX said and saw that i do have some 1.7RRs and new valve springs to and to my "mild grind" cam.
