I Installed a set of 30# inj. in my 88 Mustang. The prob. is one of the inj. had a broken pintle, can I use the pintle off another inj. say, a 19# or do I need another 30# inj? The set came with an extra one, I installed it but I think it's bad.Any help, any help at all...

now I could be wrong about this so do hurt me if I am...
The only difference between the 19's and 30's are the internal stuff and the screen at the end. You might be able to take the end "cap" off a 19 and put it on a 30... they look the same to me...Hope this helps |

A guy on another board i frequent had the same problem and it turned out that the pintles on the end are not the same on the 30's as they are on the 19's. I don't know for sure, but that guy ordered a new set of the end caps to fix his problem. Just make sure you really look at them to make sure they are the same.
