Post mac or dynomax?

Well I have scrapped my side exhaust idea. I just cannot find anyone with it to compare.

I am now going to get some headers and new mufflers, the rest of my system is OK.

Which mufflers? MAC or Dynomax? Which model? Have any sounds?

Ian

I remember when we talked that time and you liked the sound of my 2 chamber flowmasters, though they are loud I think the 3 chamber ones would make you very happy because they dont have the loud drone of the 2chambers

I remember that

How would they sound on my stock car? They sound great on yours with the h-pipe but what about on mine?

I always thought that MAC or Dynomax sounded better on a stock car?

Mufflerboy, where did you buy yours? How much?

I bought an american thunder cat back from summit it seemed cheapat first but with shipping and duty it works out to cost more. I know this might sound funny but you can get almost any thing you want for your car at Canadian tire.
you can either get just three chamber mufflers or a force 2 cat back if you want with thee muffleres and 2-1/2" pipes
It would still sound good on your car but not to loud because of your stock Hpipe

Cool

Between the 2,MAC & Dynomax,go for the Mac.

I had Dynomax super turbos on my car for a year and wasn't impressed at all. They don't have the performance sound that a muscle car should have, plus, look at how the exhaust flows while trying to exit once,I couldn't believe I even installed them *LOL* Now i'm running 2 chamber Flowmasters, but have thought about changing to MAC.

Goto www.mustangworld.com they have a section with a bunch of audio files of different exhaust set-ups.

Well after posting on all the message boards on the net, I have decided on MAC.

My Ford dealer can get them for me for only $89.99CDN, that is a great deal. I will order those today, get them on tomorrow, I hope. I called a parts store for Flows, they want $120.

I will hold off on the headers until I get a little more money.
