Default Will '87-'93 rear, side windows fit on an '86

My friend has an '86 GT. He wants to convert his "louvered" side windows to the full glass ones on the '87-'93s. Can this be done without major modifications. The body shop that's working on his car right now is telling him it can't be done but I can't imagine that its that complicated. Thanks for any info.

I believe it is or is close to a direct bolt in.
I've seen MANY pre 87's with 87-up quarter windows, so it can't be all that hard.

good luck
