Default 5.0 to 351

I am looking at buying a long block from ford racing. I haven't decided which one yet. I'd like to have that 392 stroker they have, but it is $1300 more. The part number is M-6007-A351 in the ford racing 2001 catalog. It comes with a single plane intake.

My Questions are: What do I need to make this motor EFI? I know that only certain manifolds are available for the 351, but my major concern is electronics. Can I use the stock computer and wiring harness? Of course I will be using aftermarket throttle body and mass air meter.

yes you can use the stock wiring and computer but you will want to add on to needing a bigger fuel pump and injectors ...

I intended on going with 30 or 36 #/hr injectors. I also intended on going with at least a 190 fuel pump. Will the injectors that fit a 5.0 intake fit a 351?

The injectors for a 5.0 will work on a 351 manifold. I've got a 393 stroker kit and am going to be using a trick flow manifold, But it's a pretty tall manifold. be prepared for a cowl induction hood. The stormin normin hood doesn't clear mine. But the cool thing about it is i'm able to use my Ford motorsport polished tall valve covers with the red ford racing logo on them.
