351W Intake ???????'s
I think I wasted my money. I bought a 351W lower intake but my upper will not fit. Did I get the wrong one? If so, which lower intake can I use. I am on a limited budget and would like to buy used one from a junk yard or such. I don't want to buy one new but if I have to I just want to buy the lower if possible. Please hel p I am starting to lose interest in this car.

I bought a lower intake from an 1989 F-150.
If that is wrong what intake do I need to buy. Eveyone says Cobra or GT-40, but is that specifically for the 351 or is it for the 302 but will work on the 351? I know the 351 is wider that is why I am asking before I go and spend 500 on a new intake. Thanks! Quote:

get a comp cams upper or bennet racing truck upper and port the lower to match

The one to get that is specifically designed for a 351 is the TFS 351W intake. Upper and lower. If you're interested, I might be able to give you a deal on a used GT-40 intake for a 351. I would like to upgrade to the TFS.
