Default Exhaust

Hey guys,
I have a dynomax cat back exhaust on my car now, that isn't bad, but I would prefer something with a more aggressive tone. I'm not sure which way to go on this though. I am thinking flowmaster original 40series catback. Do you think this will give me a better sound by itself; or should I stick with my dynomax cat back exhaust and put on headers and an H pipe? One of my dynomax mufflers has to be replaced, so I have to either purchase two new mufflers of a different brand, or one new dynomax.
Also, for those of you who did the headers and Hpipe, did you have a noticeable increase in horse power from this mod?

I don't know how much my opinion means to you but I am actually in the process of doing my entire exhaust over. From headers back and I've done more research than you can possilby imagine. I would recommend at least replacing the Hpipe if you still have the stock one on there. It is pretty restrictive. If you don't mind switching back to the stock one for inspection (if you have emissions testing like I do ) I would go with an off road H.
And if you have the money, you should just get the headers done while you are doing everything else.
It all really depends on your budget. If you have the money to buy good products, go for it. If you don't, don't waste your money on lousy brands just to do the work, save up and buy something decent.
Just my .02.

Scott
