Question Clutch cable problem

Just got a new SVO adjustable clutch cable. Had Ford dealer install it and it squeaks and I can feel the cable move through the pedal when I depress it. It fuctions well, but I am really annoyed by this. Going to take it back to Ford tomorrow, but I want to give THEM some pointers about what it could be. Can anyone help?
