Default Grinding

I am getting a grinding when I shift into 3rd really fast. Is this the syncros dieing. ALso is putting 1.7 roller rockers a cheap and effective mod or should I just go for the cam. Also where might I find Drag radials or sliks possible used. Thanks

What car/setup do you have? The rockers are probably a good deal to go with, I'm not sure where to find used drag radials/slicks, try ebay.

synchro's are going out. I think 1.7's are better bet right now cuz there relativly easy to put in. Installing a new cam require alot more that a new set of valve cover gaskets. same the came for when you get a new set of heads or a different intake or something like that.
