Default ID for tranny #77UP70066AA

OK, I need to get a correct ID of the trans in my 69 Coupe so I can try and find a shift linkage rod that will work with the 69 floor shifter. I call on the Lords of Mustang Knowledge for the ID of the folowing set of numbers I found on the tranny up near the shift linkage: 77UP70066AA and below them were the numbers "25". I may have goten some of the last numbers wrong because it's hard for me to tell the difference between 0, G, and D. I looked all over the tranny on both the passenger and drivers side for some big stamping or casting that said C4 or C6 or AOD but I couldnt find anything. It didnt help that it was pouring rain and I had to work on it in the driveway.
Thanks, New Guy who needs the help!

In 69 it would be a C-4 (aluminum case sqare pan) FMX (cast iron case sqare pan) or C-6 (aluminum case kinda L shaped pan) for the automatics.

Well it stopped raining here long enough for me to get a good look at the pan. I took a couple of Digi Pic's and here is one I tok lying under the driver's side door. Can anyone ID this and if so what is the correct rod to work from the original 69 floor shifter to this tranny?
Thanks, 69Coupe

That is a C-6. What motor is in it?

1989 5L GT 302. That much I know from the shop invoice who put it in for the kid I bought it from. They did some mild "hi-po" stuff to the top end and gace him 2yr 30K warranty on the labor. Strange deal all around so far, cant figure out what radiator will fit in there either. Had to send back the reproduction 302 from 69 I just got because the inlet sits right in front of the fan Blade! I will try to take some more pic's tommor, weather permitting.
Thanks 69Coupe

Almost forgot to ask the $64 question! Will a 70 Mach 1 FMX linkage rod work between the stock 69 shifter and the C6? I have a friend who will give it to me for $10 bucks but I want to make sure it fits right first.
