2 questions

1) How do you add the pics or the graphics to your post?

2) I notice that a lot of guys have signatures that detail every mod they've done to their car. They can't be typing it over every time they post. How is that done?

You can edit your signature, and other account options, by selecting the "User CP" (for control panel) button up near the top of each message board page. Then, select "Edit Profile".

However, since you mentioned signatures and various members who list every mod on their car in them... PLEASE, take note of this excerpt from our site rules below. For an explaination fo VBcode and images, see the VBcode help page. You can also upload images in your posts as attachements.

Account holders have the ability to create a predefined signature profile under their account, which can be appended to the end of posted messages on our message board. In the past, these signatures have gotten out of hand with users listing 20 lines of car parts, large pictures, or offensive material. This will not be tolerated. All members are welcome to utilize this feature, but your signature should be limited to no more than six lines. If you do incorporate an image, for example a picture of your car, it should be no more than 300 x 200 pixels and no more than 20K in file size. However, we discourage using this area to post a picture of your car as you have the ability to both upload an Avatar, which can be used for this purpose, and put pictures in your User's Rides listing. Furthermore, your signature should also not contain blatantly commercial advertisements. For example, if you are a business owner, website owner, or staff member of another website your signature could acceptably be something like:

John Doe, Owner
XYZ Motorsports
http://www.xzymotorsports.com

But, can not be something like:

John Doe, Owner
XYZ Motorsports
http://www.xzymotorsports.com

In other words, you can make a simple link as long as it is not done so in a manner that becomes a solicitation, and is done with taste. Again, your signature is not the place to list all the modifications you've done to your vehicle. We have a very extensive User's Rides system that allows you to post your vehicle in a public system, with a complete specs sheet, pictures, sound, and even video. We encourage all members to list their vehicle in the User's Rides area, and then add a line to the bottom of their signature which might say something like, "1999 Mustang GT - Supercharged", and link it to their User's Rides listing using "vB Code". The URL will be emailed to you when you submit your listing. Of course, The Mustang Works can decide at any time, and on a case by case basis, what is and is not acceptable signature content. We reserve the right to edit or delete signatures at our discretion.
