![]() OK, If you didnt see my post last week, I swapped in my gt40's, my cobra intake, and the 1.6rr and the 65mm tb. It was backfiring like crazy when I started it up, so I checked the valves. The rr took like 1 3/4 turns to get to 20ft/lds after zero lash. I got shims today now all the rr took between a little over 1/4 and about 3/4 of a turn to get to 20 ft/lbs. The car is still backfiring, mostly through the intake. Have any of you guys had any problems related to this? All the parts came off my buddies car, which was running great before and after he wrecked it. I am totally baffled by this. I havent had a car to drive in almost two weeks. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help, John
