				 | K frames, whose is best for Street and Drags? Ok, Guy's, Gals, Who is using what for K Frames and Tubular A-Arms? What spring weight front and rear? I'm running a stroked 351 W, so it is a lot heavier then a basic 302. I'm looking for longevity and strength, I plan on Owning this car for quite some time. I just got it painted and I'm working on lightening the car now.. Mac

				 | idhomustang........Sorry to get off the subject, but i see you have an s&w cage, how does that fit? Any kind of extra cutting needed? I have been looking into getting a cage from s&w, but unsure of how they fit. |

				 | Cage As luck would have it it did fit pretty good, bends were right, minimal cutting, I did learn a lot about attaching it to the car. It took me less that 2 hours a good welder might take much longer, depending on his/her level of anal retentiveness. I would say 4 hours welding time, twice that to gut the car. Some tricky spots to weld especially the top side of the cage for the down bars. One thing I did was prep the cage and paint it, before welding it, sanding and grinding at the joints as I went. It really looks good, and touch up was a snap. I had a buddy, who painted his in the car, afterwards and he spent, tons of time. Now on the other hand, if its a race car this wouldn't be any problem. These Guys at S&W treated me right, and I have ordered two cages from them. If you want I'll send you a couple of pictures of the car and you can see the cage. Mac.. Fstpny@hotmail.com
