![]() The TFS Track Heat intake or the Performer RPM on a N/A 302. It would have Track heat heads and the mods in my SIG. The Track Heat is more cheap but is there a reason why??? I have seen the RPM do great things but will the Track Heat be just as good??

![]() I think you have a good combo already, heh, well, id stick with an intake that matches, so you should go with the tfs all together, just my .02...good luck.
btw, i know of a known mustang builder that says the efi edelbrock vic jr is the way to go with poweradder, but i know you said n/a, what cam are you using?

![]() I have a Lunati cam. Its .218 .226 duration and has .531 .541 lift with the 1.7 rockers I have. It pulls good to the 6250 rev limiter. I sold my intake and Windsor Jr's a while back and I got the Track Heats yesterday. Just need an intake that will match well with what I have. Im hoping for a 112, 113 MPH trap speed. I did pull 109 with the old combo ONCE. It was very cold that run. My normal was 107, 108.

![]() Although similar in performace, the performer RPM has outperformed the TFS track heat in independant tests, not to mention you can easily "clean up" the performer RPM with the removeable cover, and it looks 6,987 times better than the ugly trick flow intake.
As a side note, the TFS intakes, the street heat and the track heat have identical external dimensions on the uppers. Only internally do they differ. the edelbrocks have noticeably shorter runners on the RPM versus performer, and it is lighter. |
