![]() I just recently got an air fuel ratio gauge and it says to hook up the signal to the purple wire on the O2 sensor but when i went underneath to do it there is 2 white ones and one black one. In the instructions its telling me there should be one white, one black, and one purple. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, the white wires are for the heater element inside the HEGO. If you wanna hook your lead up to 12V, when it's designed to see only 0.1-0.9V, you'll quickly have a BURNED meter. Trust the dude, k? It's the BLACK wire. And congrats on your acquisition. Now I'm jealous. ![]()

![]() Damn, that sounds easy..mind if I ask where you're mounting it and where you're running the wire for it? I'm just curious because I REALLY want one myself to see how I'm running...I get this sneaking suspicion that my car periodically starts running rich and I'd like to know for sure!

![]() Well I got the 3 gauge pillar to go with it which mounts right on the inner side of the windshield on the driverside. I got the air fuel and vac gauges hooked up and looking for a third. The wires are running down underneath the molding and goes right underneath the dash to a hole through the firewall.
