![]() Just got back from my Ford dealer with my 2002 GT.
I had been having shifting problems with first and second gear. The problem was really bad in cool weather and while the transmission was cold. I had new synthetic oil put in, and even a new transmission! The problem is still present. When I took it in this afternoon there were 3, yes THREE other GT owners with the same problems!! a 2001 and 2 2002s. Ford is aware of the problem, however there is no fix for it yet. Any one else have this problem with there 2001-2002? |

![]() In cool weather 4-5 C (35-40 F) the transmission is difficult to shift into both first and second gear. When shifting you acting can feel the gears clunking into each other!
At higher temps, no problems. I cruised all day yesterday in the 70's and the car shifted great. |
