Default Clutch Problems

Ok, so here I am again with yet another car problem. My clutch went out a while ago, along with the linkage. So I replaced the clutch, clutch disc, throwout bearing, and I fixed the linkage. I also installed a new shifter. But for some odd reason the damn clutch won't engage! Once the car is started the clutch won't let me shift, and if I start the car in gear she just jerks forward. The clutch pedal does give some resistence but not till the clutch is halfway down, and off course it goes all the way to the floor. I have checked my clutch setup about four times now, everything looks good. Does anybody have any ideas. I need to get my baby fixed.
