![]() I want to put ram-air on my gf's new mustang. Its pass. foglight is already gone anyway so I figured I would go ahead and make this ram air work. I want to know how people make theres that run through the fog light hole..Let me explain how mine works
I bought a 6in piece of round ductwork. This went around my K&N filter. I put a cap on both ends of this and on one end cut the hole so that just the end of the K&N would stick out and mount onto my MAF. Then I had a hole cut into the side of the ductwork and had a fitting brazed onto the duct..Then i stuck the vent hose over the fitting and had a box made that mounted under my front ground effects piece. The box is 3 inches tall. 9 inches deep..and 15 inches wide..cut a whole in the top and that box..put another fitting in there and that dryer vent connected to that..Thats it..Pretty damn complicated if u ask me... So how will I make this if the car is speed Density?????? ------------------ 347 Stroker Motor: Balanced, Cobra Transmission, Extrude Ported and Polished Upper and ported Lower, GT40 Milled Ported and Polished Heads, B303 Cam, BBK 1 5/8 Headers, 30lb Bosch Injectors, Holley AFPR, March Underdrive Pulleys, Perma-Cool Fan, 3-Core Radiator, Accel Performance Coil, Accel 300+ Racing Wires, Ram Air, K&N Filter, 73mm Vortech MAF, 70mm TB, FlowMaster Exhaust w/BBK Offroad H-Pipe, Hurst Shifter, 3:55 Gears, Ram Clutch, Cross Drilled Rotors, AC del, rear seat del. |
