Everyone around here is a Chevy guy. My engine builder is no different. He is used to timing pointers on Checvy timing covers, and we can't locate one for a Ford racing timing cover. So he asked me to ask you all for some assistance. Anyone have a clue as how to get one short of a boneyard??

You get a timing pointer free with every ford vehicle
j/k why not get one from a boneyard?, they don't wear out. The FRPP timing cover isn't any different from a regular one and a timing pointer from any ford 5.0L or 5.8L will work. If not you can probably order a new one from any Ford dealership. These Chevy guys can sure make a big problem out of a minor one when it comes to anything Ford. |
