Do you have A/C? I am pretty sure thats where my A/C relay is.

Thanks! I have removed my ac. I was wanting to clean up my wiring but didn't want to remove something I need.

I thought maybe it was a power window relay but they still work with it pulled so I knew that wasn't it.

Check your codes after pulling it and make sure you don't get any.

I was having starting problems with my car, I kept hearing this loud thoomp sound so I had a buddy keep an ear out while I hit the key, it seems that this relay was making all the noise. I unplugged the relay and then the car would not start.....I have no idea where it goes, but on my 88 it does something with the starting of the car. I also have a/c, pw, and all the goodies.

I removed it. Car still starts and everything that used to work still works.

sweet88coupe,

Not sure why your car would not start but mine starts and runs fine. There is another connector in the same location that goes to the 02 sensors. Maybe that is what you disconnected.
