this is a very wierd situation to me. I bought a '99 GT in 02 with only 12k miles on it. Recently had it tuned up and it blew a spark plug out of the head. Had it fixed, I figured, "a screw up by a reputable shop". Blew another a month later; took it to a awesome mechinac I know. He told me the other mechs had know Idea what they were doing, "this is an essix motor, not the standard 4.6 ford put in the 99s. He said it is a 273 winsor block with "HUGE" values and P.I. heads. Can some one please explain this to me?
I do have a bunch of bolt on HP and opened this Pony up to 140-145, but I need to know about the moptor. Thanks to any help! IRAMOE |
