![]() ive herd the 89-92 blocks are stronger, true? also roller lifters?
need a block. cracked another, but finally barked in 3rd. basically using edlbrk rpm package w/ 11-1 comp. msd ign. ina 66 stang. thanks! ps except carb, pulled my old holley out and what a difference. |

![]() 89-92 blocks have forged pistons, yes. also the block itself has a high nickel content making it stronger. I've seen 650 hp on stock short blocks.

![]() 650??? outta my leauge bro. but thanks for the info. the machinist says hes got one for basically the cost of the work. the next one if it aint the 351 i got in the garage is gonna be ne of those. split that hole in 4 spots. ( i saw only 2 at first). never done that before. keep my eye out for a wreck i guess.....
